Domain Layouts
Continuing my trend of game-themed layouts, after I finished playing World of Goo I knew I had to make a layout with it. The whole layout was vectored by me, mix-and-matching different parts of screenshots to create my own custom level. The navigation are the green goos who blink when you're on their page, and the layout also features a cryptic note from the sign painter.
I had so much fun making this layout and I'm really proud to see it online. It's optimized for 1024x768+ and has been tested in Chrome, Firefox and IE. It was designed in Photoshop CS4 and coded in notepad.

Title: Still Alive Dates: May 20, 2010 - July 8, 2010 This layout was based around the signs at the beginning of each level in Portal, and featured a matching webmiss page inspired by the end credits. It was really cute and got great feedback, but the low functionality forced an early switch.

Title: Fuyu Yasumi Dates: January 1, 2010 - July 8, 2010 Part 2 of the Yasumi project and a more winter-themed layout for Ryuuku. It was really minimalist but I enjoyed it a lot- especially since I was finally able to organize the network page properly.

Title: Natsu Yasumi Dates: July 2, 2009 - January 1, 2010 Part 1 of the Yasumi project and a light, airy summer-themed layout. I liked how simple it was and the colour scheme as well. Eventually it succummed to frostbite and inspired its second half.

Title: Imperial Dates: January 18, 2009 - July 21, 2009 A royal layout featuring Chii from Chobits. Absolutely adored the colours and the gorgeous picture that I used, but eventually I decided that it was too dominant and wanted to focus more on the projects than the layout.

Title: Wasabi Suicide Dates: October 4, 2008 - December, 2008 Ryuuku's first layout, and one I would rather not remember. Got changed a million times before being banished. |
